A weekend of Decadence

This weekend my sweetie and I went away for the weekend to go to Niagara Falls and I’ve got to say it was one of the best weekends I’ve had in a very long time. We got a really nice suite and got up on Friday night to begin the weekend of decadence and a lot of decadence was to be had. We drank, we ate good food, we slept in and we had a lot of sex… all in all a very good weekend. I don’t think anyone would say no to a lot of sex (except maybe a priest) and I’m sure that no one would complain about really good food and having a lot of fun.

We did gamble a bit, well I did at least, and yes I did win a bit of money. Nothing huge but over the whole weekend (all 3 hours of gambling) I ended up being up $95 though I was up more. The old casino was not nearly as crowded as I remember it being and they now have poker! So I think I’ll be going back. But the thing that I was really surprised about was the opulence of the new casino. It looks like one of the big casinos out of Las Vegas; I was very impressed by what they’ve done. Unlike the old casino which wasn’t crawling with people the new one really truly was absolutely packed and it was kind of cool to see that again.

A weekend of spending money and having fun was definitely enjoyable and neither my sweetie nor I mentioned nor thought about work the whole weekend. That had to be one of the nicest benefits of this weekend that was totally unexpected. I guess I should try going away like this more often. Too bad I probably won’t be able to afford doing something like this for a while.
