Even a plane can Hydroplane

The unbelievable happened in Toronto yesterday a plane skidded off the runway and went into a ravine at the end of the runway then burst into flames. But all 309 passengers on the plane managed to get off the plane. The weather yesterday was at times violent and thunderstorms were coming through, the fact that a plane tried landing as the leading edge of one of these thunderstorms was coming through is surprising but luckily no one died in the crash.

Yesterday 309 people on the plane and all of the emergency crew dealing with the fire got very lucky in that no one died and only a small portion of those people were hurt. The emergency response staff as well as the planes crew put all of the scariest part of their training to good use and lives were saved. May we never see something like that for a long long time.
