And Wilma ties a record

Well it's offical the 2005 hurricane season is now a record breaker and I'm not refering to the damage that this years storms have caused which in it's own right is historic. Today Wilma became the 21st named tropical storm this year which ties a record set in 1933 and from the looks of it there will probably be more named storms this year. It's surprising that we've had so many storms even though some people would argue it's global warming. As people in New Orleans and the gulf states dig out from the mess that was wreaked on them another storm slowly gathers strength; hopefully none of the storms remaining this year will be nearly as damaging but time will tell.
