Book Review: Kushiel's Dart

This is probably going to be a pretty short review since I finished the book a few days ago and I don't really remember all the points I wanted to make. Not to mention it's not even 9 yet and well my brain just doesn't do mornings very well. It's good for shit like driving, dressing, showering and stuff but forget about writing thought provoking stuff (well unless I really need to)
So this book, Kusheil's Dart, was a book recommended to me by my GF and I've got to say it was an interesting read, the political intrique of a book set in a medieval setting, though no magics. The main character is Phedre who's a professional whore... it's not bad, seriously... their whole society is based around this concept of sleeping around and buying sex. There isn't any heavy descriptions of anything which lets your imagination go along with a lot of political type intrigue mixed in with a fair bit of adventure. I've got to say I honestly enjoyed this book and I'm about to start reading the next one in the series.
Like I said, the review isn't all that great, I think I need a coffee... the book really was good.
