Movie Review: Aeon Flux

On Saturday while on a jaunt to the mall to have a poke around to see what's new and fancy in the stores (sadly nothing) my gorgeous GF and I went and saw Aeon Flux. I wanted to see this movie because it was a sci fi and cuz it looked cool even though I didn't really know what to expect. The movie was pretty good and for once a sci-fi movie didn't rely desperately on effects to keep me interested, though Chalize did a pretty good job of looking pretty. The movie's story line held together, story arcs and character development occured and in the end pulled together a pretty interesting story. The acting was actually pretty good even though the movie may not have torn appart the box office it still did decently.

If you like sci-fi movies that actually hold together and are visually pleasing (Chalize aside) then this movie is probably right up your alley. It was action packed while still ensuring that the audience understands the world/setting and presenting the story without being totally unbelievable.
